Financial
Regulators & Financial Authorities
Just as
with the rest of the financial market, brokering is regulated
under the law. Various regulators and financial authorities
are responsible for controlling different areas of the market.
General Insurance
Standards Council
The GISC
serves as the UK watchdog organisation that sets, monitors
and enforces regulations in all aspects
of insurance.
They are
also responsible for tracking customer complaints against
individuals and companies from the insurance sector.

organization that
settles complaints between customers and financial
service providers,
and they reserve the power to revoke any financial service
broker’s
authorisation. The FSA also provides useful consumer
